Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, there are a few things you can do to keep your shift bright and sharp as new:
- Strictly avoid bleaching, dry-cleaning or starching the shirt.
- Before placing it in the wash, turn the shirt inside out and take care not to mix it with medium- or dark-colored garments.
- Always dry it in the shade, also inside out.
- Avoid the use of whiteners as the fabric has already been treated to retain it’s glow for numerous washes.
- Collars and cuffs tend to attract more dirt and required gentle handling with a mild detergent to clean them. Avoid using a hard brush or a detergent cake.
- Every few washes, dip the shirt (post-wash) a couple of times in a very, very mild solution of natural liquid indigo (neel). This helps maintain the whiteness of the garment for years to come.
Once the order is confirmed, we ensure it leaves our premises within 24 hours. Post that, it usually takes 1-3 days for the delivery partner to bring it to your doorstep, depending on how far you are from us.
Zero. All applicable charges required to deliver the shirt to you are borne by us. However, should a customer choose to return the shirt for any reason, the reverse delivery charges as may be applicable shall have to be borne by them.
Once the order is packed and shipped, all relevant information and tracking links shall be shared with you via message. Real time information related to the delivery status shall also be shared with you in the same mode as the delivery nears.
Yes, of course! That is very much possible as long as the package has not left our premises. Since there is no fixed time for that, we have to take up cancellation requests on a case-to-case basis. Once the package is picked by our delivery partner, calling it back isn’t possible, so we request the customer to take delivery and then return the package via reverse delivery route (charges apply).
We offer a 3-day return policy for all unused and unworn items, no questions asked. Writort reserves the right to process refunds after checking the returned items. Applicable reverse delivery charges cannot be refunded in case of goods’ returns as these are purely third party levies.
